About Texas Premier Coat Resurfacing

We have over a decade of experience!

I have been working as a concrete contractor in Austin and San Antonio since 2011 when I began working for the LimeCoat company. The company's owner brought LimeCoat to Texas 12 years ago. When he passed away in 2013, I started operating the company as Texas Premier Coat Resurfacing. I have the same workers, warehouse, install procedures, materials, and warranty as before. Only the name has changed.

This will be my fourth year in the overlay industry, and my head foreman has been doing this for over seven years. Our primary area of expertise is decorative composite overlay, which is similar to concrete but much stronger.

Here a several reasons that you may want work with our company:

  • We offer an excellent product at a reasonable price.
  • We are fully bonded and insured.
  • We offer free estimates on all of our products.
  • Our product is compression-tested at 6,200 PSI, rather than 3,000 PSI for standard concrete.

Austin Decorative Composite Overlays for Various Types of Surfaces

We can do decorative overlays on both vertical and horizontal surfaces. On ground surfaces, we can overlay over concrete, brick and aggregate. On wall surfaces, we can overlay over brick, hardy board, wood, or stucco. We can also overlay over drywall on interior projects.

What is resurfacing?

In the resurfacing process, we take an existing concrete surface and apply a new layer of cement right over it. You can customize your new surface with textures and patterns of your choosing. There are also plenty of color options available.

We specialize in the following types of resurfacing:

  • Decorative concrete coating
  • Concrete-stamped overlays
  • Concrete acid stain

With our advanced installation techniques, you can completely recreate your concrete surface, giving it the appearance of other materials such as slate, brick, and flagstone. By providing your patio, driveway, pool deck, or other area with a unique decorative finish, your will be able to significantly improve the look of your home or commercial property.

What is a Quartz Coat?

Quartz Coat is a type of coating that gives your surface the appearance of real stone. This coating is made up of cements, polymers, and minerals. It was based on a concept that first originated in Europe, where it was used for the restoration for historic buildings. Quartz Coat is able to permanently adhere to various types of surfaces. With a PSI of over 6,000, it is known as one of the most durable coating options.

Whether you want to resurface your pool deck, patio, walkway, or driveway, Quartz Coat is a great choice! We can use this type of coating for both residential and commercial properties, including homes, restaurants, hotels, sports complexes, amusement parks, and other types of locations.

Concrete Resurfacing with Quartz Coat

One of the greatest benefits of using Quartz Coat for your concrete resurfacing project is that it adheres incredibly well to the concrete and therefore does not “peel.” In contrast, it only takes a few years for many traditional coatings to start peeling. Rather than dealing with the hassle and expense of completely tearing out your concrete, you should consider using Quartz Coat, which has shown that it can stand the test of time. Choose Coats and make this coating the very last one you will need to apply!

Walls & Architecture

In addition to horizontal concrete surfaces, Quartz Coat can also be applied to walls and other architectural surfaces. It can be used on brick, drywall, stucco, hardiboard, and other types of materials. This coating is a great option for both commercial and residential properties, as it is easy to install due to its lightweight features. The coating is only ½-inch to 1 ½ inches thick! With Quartz Coat, you can turn a drab, run-down surface into a new one with a beautiful, high-end stone appearance. Make sure to consider this coating for your next remodeling or new construction project!
